The biggest lie in content marketing is that you need to create content every day. You don’t. You need a system that multiplies your effort.
I create 30 pieces of content from 2 hours of recording. One session, one month of content. No daily grind. No staring at a blank screen wondering what to post.
This is the system I teach to every client, and it’s the reason they actually stick with content creation instead of burning out after 3 weeks.
Why Most People Quit Content Creation
They try to create every piece from scratch. Monday morning, they sit down, think of an idea, write a caption, find an image, post it. Tuesday, same thing. By Friday they’re exhausted and the content quality drops. By week 3, they’ve stopped posting entirely.
The problem isn’t discipline. It’s the system. Or rather, the lack of one.
The Recording System
Step 1: Pick 10 questions your clients ask you. Not topics you think are interesting. The actual questions real people pay you to answer. These are your content goldmine because they directly address what your audience is searching for.
Step 2: Record yourself answering each one for 10-12 minutes. Don’t script it. Just talk like you’re explaining it to a client over coffee. Use your phone or a basic webcam. The rawness is the point. 10 questions at 12 minutes each = 2 hours of recording.
Step 3: Cut each recording into 3 pieces. One recording becomes: a 60-second Reel (the hook + key insight), a carousel post (the step-by-step breakdown), and a long-form caption or blog post (the full answer). 10 recordings x 3 pieces = 30 pieces of content.
Where AI Fits In
AI handles about 80% of the production work. Once you have the recordings, AI can transcribe them, pull out the key quotes, suggest carousel structures, write caption drafts, and even identify which clips will work best as Reels.
You’re still the expert. Your voice, your stories, your insights. AI just removes the tedious part of turning raw material into finished content. What used to take a content team now takes you and a laptop.
The Content Calendar Writes Itself
With 30 pieces ready, your posting schedule becomes simple. 3 posts per week across Instagram and LinkedIn = 10 weeks of content from one 2-hour session. If you record once a month, you’ll never run out of content again.
Schedule everything in advance. Batch your captions. Queue your posts. Then spend the rest of your time actually running your business instead of staring at Instagram wondering what to say.
What Happens When You Implement This
The clients I’ve taught this system to consistently report three things: they post more consistently (because the content is pre-made), the quality goes up (because they’re talking naturally instead of writing forced captions), and they get more engagement (because the content sounds like a real person, not a marketing script).
One photographer I worked with went from posting randomly 2-3 times a week to having 3 months of content queued. Her engagement doubled because the content was more authentic. She was talking about real client situations instead of generic tips.
Try It This Week
Pick 3 questions your clients ask you. Record yourself answering each one. Cut each into a Reel, a carousel idea, and a caption. You’ll have 9 pieces of content from about 30 minutes of recording.
