How to Use Claude AI for Business

I run my entire content operation on Claude. Not ChatGPT. Not Gemini. Claude, made by Anthropic.

This guide covers exactly how I use Claude to automate my business. Content creation, client onboarding, email sequences, data analysis, and operations. If you are a coach, consultant, or expert running a service-based business, this guide shows the workflows and the setup behind them.

5 Claude Workflows for Business

1. Content Production

I use Claude to draft all my content: Instagram carousels, reel scripts, email newsletters, blog posts, LinkedIn articles. I feed it my content DNA, a structured document containing my stories, frameworks, client results, and voice rules. Every output sounds like me because the input is comprehensive.

2. Client Communication

Every client call gets transcribed and fed into Claude. It generates meeting summaries, action items, and follow-up emails. It tracks what each client is working on and flags when someone is falling behind on their implementation.

3. Research and Analysis

When I need to analyze a client’s content performance, competitive landscape, or market positioning, Claude processes the raw data and surfaces insights. I feed it analytics exports and it tells me what is working, what is not, and what to change.

4. Email Sequences

I build automated email sequences that nurture leads into sales calls. Claude writes the sequences based on my proven frameworks: the story arc, the belief shift, the direct offer. Each email sounds personal because it draws from real conversations and real results.

5. Systems Documentation

Every process in my business is documented. Claude takes rough notes from how I do things and turns them into step-by-step SOPs that anyone could follow. This is how I scaled from doing everything myself to having systems that run without me.

How to Set Up Claude for Your Business

Step 1: Build Your Knowledge Base

Before you prompt Claude for anything, create a document with your business DNA. Include your origin story, your methodology, your client results (with specific numbers you can verify), your pricing, your ideal client profile, and your voice rules. The more specific this document is, the better Claude performs.

Step 2: Create Custom Instructions

Claude lets you set project-level instructions that persist across conversations. I have different instruction sets for content creation, client communication, and business analysis. Each one tells Claude exactly how I want the output formatted, what tone to use, and what rules to follow.

Step 3: Feed It Real Data

The biggest mistake people make with AI is asking it to generate from nothing. Feed Claude your actual call transcripts, your top-performing posts, your client testimonials, your sales page copy. It produces dramatically better output when it has real material to work with.

Step 4: Iterate and Refine

The first output is never the final output. I typically go through 2-3 rounds of refinement on anything important. Claude improves with feedback. Tell it what you liked, what missed the mark, and what to change. It learns within the conversation.

Claude for Coaches: Specific Use Cases

Sales call prep. Feed Claude your prospect’s Instagram, website, and any previous communication. It generates a personalized call brief with talking points, potential objections, and pricing recommendations.

Course content creation. Outline your module structure and feed Claude your teaching transcripts. It produces lesson scripts, workbook pages, and assessment questions in your voice.

DM responses. Claude can draft personalized DM responses based on your sales framework. Not copy-paste templates. Actual responses that reference what the prospect said and move the conversation forward.

Proposal writing. Feed Claude your service packages, the prospect’s needs from the discovery call, and your proposal template. It generates a custom proposal in minutes instead of hours.

What Claude Cannot Do

Claude is not a replacement for thinking. It does not know your business better than you do. It cannot make strategic decisions about your offer, your positioning, or your pricing. Those require judgment that only comes from experience.

Claude also cannot verify facts it was not given. If you ask it to write about your results without feeding it the actual numbers, it will make things up. Every claim in any AI-generated content needs to be verified against your real data.

Use Claude as a production system, not a strategy system. You are the architect. Claude is the factory floor.
