Every coaching package I’ve sold started with a piece of content. Not an ad. Not a cold DM. A post that made someone think “this person gets my problem.”
If your content isn’t selling, it’s because you’re creating for followers, not clients. There’s a difference.
The Content-to-Client Pipeline
Every piece of content you post should serve one of three roles in the pipeline: attract the right person, prove you can help them, or give them one clear next step. Most coaches post content that only does the first job, attracting people. They get followers but never convert them because they skip steps two and three.
What Selling Content Actually Looks Like
The Before/After Post. Show a client transformation with specific numbers. “My client went from 0 leads per month to 23 discovery calls in 6 weeks. Here’s the one change we made.” This isn’t bragging. It’s proof that you deliver results.
The “I Used to Struggle Too” Post. Share your own journey from stuck to successful. People buy from people who’ve been where they are. “Two years ago I was posting every day with zero clients. Then I changed my approach.” The shift from teaching to outcome content changed everything for me.
The Process Reveal Post. Show one specific thing you do with clients. Not the whole framework, one actionable piece. “The first thing I do with every new client is rewrite their bio. Here’s why.” Then link to the result that one change creates.
The Objection Crusher Post. Address the reason people don’t buy. “You don’t need a bigger audience to sell coaching. You need better content.” Here’s proof.

How Often to Post Selling Content
Alternate between value and selling posts. Monday: transformation story. Wednesday: process reveal. Friday: CTA-heavy post. The ratio doesn’t need to be perfect. What matters is that you never go more than 2 posts without showing a result or making an offer. You can batch all of this from one recording session.
