30 ChatGPT prompts for social media content
Fill-in-the-blank prompts for hooks, captions, ideas, carousels, reels, and repurposing. They work in ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI chat.
The goal of your content is not likes, it is clients. These are the prompts I use to make content that actually sells, not content that just fills the feed. Two rules make every one of them work: fill in each [bracket] with your real details, and paste your own posts and results in instead of asking the AI to imagine them. Real input in, real content out.
Hooks that stop the scroll
1. Write 10 hooks for a post about [topic]. Rules: no questions, each under 12 words, at least 3 contain a number.
2. Here are 3 hooks that worked for me: [paste them]. Write 10 more that use the same underlying pattern for my audience of [describe them].
3. Give me 7 contrarian hooks about [common belief in my niche] that a smart reader would stop to argue with.
4. Rewrite this boring first line so a stranger cannot scroll past it: [paste line]. Give me 5 versions.
5. Turn this result into a hook: [outcome + number]. Lead with the number, keep it under 10 words.
Captions that get clients
6. Turn this client win into a story caption: [3 facts]. Open with the outcome, no greeting, under 150 words, end with one line that invites a DM.
7. Here is a voice-note transcript: [paste]. Rewrite it as a caption in MY voice. Keep my phrasing, cut filler, add nothing I did not say.
8. Write a caption that teaches ONE useful thing about [topic] and ends by pointing to my [free resource] without sounding salesy.
9. Cut this caption by 40 percent without losing the point: [paste]. Show me what you cut.
10. Read this caption: [paste]. Tell me the one sentence a stranger would screenshot. If there is none, rewrite until there is one.
Content ideas that never run dry
11. Give me 30 content ideas for [niche]: 10 that build authority, 10 that tell a story, 10 that lead to my offer. One line each.
12. Here are 20 comments and DMs from my audience: [paste]. Turn the questions people actually ask into 15 post ideas.
13. I help [who] get [outcome]. List 10 myths in my niche I can break, one post each.
14. Give me 7 ways to tell the story of how I got [result]: the mistake angle, the cost angle, before-after, the myth it breaks, a checklist, a timeline, the lesson.
15. What are the 10 questions people search before hiring someone like me? Turn each into a post title.
Carousels and reels
16. Turn this idea into a 6-slide carousel outline: [idea]. Slide 1 is the hook, the last slide is the takeaway plus a soft CTA.
17. Write a 30-second reel script about [topic]: a 3-second hook, 3 fast points, one line to end. Spoken, under 60 words.
18. Here is my long caption: [paste]. Cut it into a 5-slide carousel, one clear idea per slide.
19. Give me 5 reel hooks for [topic] that work on mute, as on-screen text.
20. Turn this framework into a saveable carousel: [framework]. One step per slide, plain language.
Turn one post into ten
21. Here is a transcript of my video or client call: [paste]. Pull every strong claim, number, and story I can turn into posts.
22. Turn this one post into an email, 3 reel hooks, and a carousel outline: [paste post].
23. Here are my 10 best posts: [paste]. Rewrite each with a fresh angle so I can repost it in 90 days.

Grow and stay consistent
26. Build me a 30-day posting calendar for [platform] around [3 content pillars]. One post idea per day, one line each.
